Accessibility
Designed to be used by everyone.
Casa Brickell is a public accommodation, and its website is held to the same standard. We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.1, at level AA. This page is the formal statement of our approach.
Commitments
- Standard
- WCAG 2.1 Level AA, audited continuously with axe-core during build.
- Keyboard
- Every interactive element is reachable and operable with keyboard alone, with visible focus states.
- Screen reader
- Headings, labels, landmarks, and live regions are structured for VoiceOver, NVDA, and JAWS.
- Motion
- Continuous motion respects prefers-reduced-motion: reduce. Critical interactions never depend on motion.
- Color
- Body text meets 4.5:1 contrast minimum; large text meets 3:1. Color is never the sole signal for state.
- Forms
- Inputs are labelled, errors are announced via aria-live, required fields are explicit.
Need assistance with your stay?
For accommodations during your visit — accessible parking, step-free access to the suites, dietary needs, service-animal preparation, or help navigating this website — please reach the team directly. We respond within one business day.
Known limitations
Two surfaces are still in progress and may not yet meet the standard described above: the photography lightbox in /gallery (focus order under review), and embedded media in /journal entries (transcripts forthcoming for any video added later). Reach the team if either creates a problem for your visit.
