The principal suite, with the original 1928 carved cypress headboard and a loggia opening directly onto the dock.

Set into the bayfront wing of the residence, King is the room you would walk into first if a previous owner were giving you a tour. The carved cypress headboard is original to the house and was found, blackened, in the carriage house during restoration.

Mornings here begin with the bay; the loggia opens through three arched doors onto the dock and the plunge pool beyond. The bath is faced in salvaged Cuban tile, also original.
