WorkDropPace
DropPace. Our own app, in both app stores.
DropPace is our running app. You finish a run and add a photo. You get the photo back with your route and stats on top, ready to post.
DropPace is our own product, not client work. Unlike a made-up concept, the brand and every number here are real. The app is live in both stores under Nuko Nova Dynamics LLC, our company. We never quote its ratings or download counts.

This is the home page today. Search DropPace in either app store to install it.

A run is a list of numbers. Now it is a photo you can post.
Before
- A finished run sits in a tracker as numbers.
- To share it, you take a screenshot.
Now
- One photo becomes three posts: Drop, Overlay and Remix.
- Each number on a post comes from the run.
The brief. What it had to do.
DropPace is our own product. We built it and we run it: the app, the server, the payments and the admin. A runner finishes a workout, adds a photo and picks a style. They get the picture back with the route and stats drawn on, ready to post. One set of code runs it as a real app on iOS and Android. Both store listings have been live under Nuko Nova Dynamics LLC since 24 July 2026. The site at droppace.com is in English and Spanish.
A finished run sits in a tracker as a list of numbers. To share it, you take a screenshot. Or you use a template that covers your own photo with someone else's design.
For us, the problem was proof. A business that sells apps should have one a stranger can install.
What it had to do
- Launch a real product we run ourselves. Then anyone thinking of hiring us can download what we build.
- Turn a finished run into a post in about a minute. The minute runs from the lock screen to the share menu.
- Pass review in both app stores with one set of code.
- Keep the runner's photo as the runner shot it.
What we had to work around
- The photo stays the runner's own. Drop never changes it.
- Each number on an image is checked against the run. The check happens before the runner sees it.
- One set of code runs as a real app on iOS and Android. Both stores approved it before launch.
- Runs come from the phone's health data: HealthKit on iOS, Health Connect on Android.
What we built. Open it and check it.
- 01An app for iOS and Android that reads finished runs from the phone's health data.
- 02Three kinds of image from one process. Drop puts the stats and route on your photo. Overlay is a see-through layer for any story. Remix restyles the photo and draws the stats in.
- 03A server that stores runs, images and accounts. It gives each phone a lasting ID.
- 04Payments through RevenueCat. Each payment message is checked and can't be counted twice. The web offers a founder lifetime price.
- 05droppace.com in English and Spanish: how it works, the style catalog, pricing and the founder page.
- 06Store listings under Nuko Nova Dynamics LLC, our own company.

The calls we made. And why.
- 01
Whose photo is it?
The runner's, untouched. Drop puts the stats and the route on the picture as shot. Only Remix restyles it, and the runner chooses that.
Why
A template that covers the runner's photo is the kind people stop using. The picture is the reason to post. The stats are the caption.
- 02
One output or three?
Three, all made the same way: Drop, Overlay and Remix.
Why
A story needs a see-through layer. A feed post needs the photo. Some runners want the magazine look. One process keeps the stats the same in all three.
- 03
Can an image show a number the run did not produce?
No. Every image is checked against the workout it came from before anyone sees it.
Why
A 5.00 km run that was 4.6 is a lie on someone's feed, with our app's mark on it. The check runs before the image reaches the runner.
- 04
Two apps, or one set of code for both?
One set of code, built with Expo. It runs as a real app on both kinds of phone and passed review in both stores.
Why
We are a two-person studio. We can't run two sets of app code and a server too. One set of code reached both stores on the same day.
Measured outcomes.
Every figure is a fact about the shipped product, checkable in the stores or on droppace.com. Ratings and download counts are never quoted.
How it went. Step by step.
